I am a technologist working in the industry since 1999.
I work on {Web | Mobile | Enterprise} applications, scaling web applications and big-data analytics using Hadoop/Hbase.
I enjoy tinkering with latest technologies,software and concepts.
Consulting / Custom Development
I do consulting in following areas:
- big-data analysis using Hadoop / Hbase
- iPhone / iPad applications. I focus on building client-server apps with server-side built on Ruby on Rails
- Ruby on Rails web applications
Build + Launch Cool Stuff
I'd love building/developing cool stuff. I have created my own projects and worked with various startups. You can see some of the projects I have done in my resume
My latest project is DiscountsForMe.net - a location based member-benefits platform. Plus an Iphone app to go with !

Linux and Open Source
I am a fan of Linux and Open Source software (have been using Linux since 1998)
I have a couple of my open source projects. I follow a bunch of projects and do some testing and give feedback; I don't have much time for code contribution these days :-) I maintain a list of software I have found useful.
