I am a technologist working in the industry since 1999.

I enjoy tinkering with latest technologies,sofware and concepts. Lately
I have been looking into scalable web-apps and infrastructure (mysql
replication, caching, Amazon EC2, Hadoop) and mobile apps (Iphone and
Android)
Build + Launch Cool Stuff
I'd love building/developing cool stuff. I have created my own projects and worked with various startups. You can see some of the projects I have done in my resume
My latest project is DiscountsForMe.net - a location based member-benefits platform. Plus an Iphone app to go with !

Linux and Open Source
I am a fan of Linux and Open Source software (have been using Linux since 1998)
I have a couple of my open source projects. I follow a bunch of projcets and do some testing and give feedback; I don't have much time for code contribution these days :-) I maintain a list of software I have found usefull.
Volunteering
I did some tech volunteering work for Tech Corps USA. Now I am an enlisted volunteer at TapRoot Foundation
