Loading a File

Select a gpx file and click 'load GPX'. The file is sent to the server and 'echo'ed back. This is done because there is no easy to way to read local files using JavaScript. None of the file contents are stored in the server.
This program won't talk to GPS units. It works from GPX files. There are bunch of programs to get gpx files from GPS units. There is EasyGPS for Windows and Gpsman for Linux. To convert other formats to gpx, use GpsBabel.

Filtering

Want to find a way point that has 'waterfall' in the description. Just type the word in filterbox and hit Refresh.
When Filter Text is empty no filtering is done

Only Show Waypoints Visible in Map

Use this to show to see waypoints around an area. Use this along with 'center map' feature

This uses Google Map geocoding. When you want to get back use 'Center map to include all waypoints'
